Centergy, Inc. Successfully Hosts the Central Wisconsin Developer Tour

June 21, 2024, Central Wisconsin, WI – Centergy, Inc., a leading organization dedicated to economic development in Central Wisconsin, successfully hosted the Central Wisconsin Developer Tour in Stevens Point and Wausau on June 12th and 13th. The event brought together various stakeholders, including economic partners, developers, municipalities, and non-profit organizations, to highlight the region’s potential for housing and commercial development.

The tour commenced with a warm welcome and networking event on June 12th in Stevens Point, where participants had the opportunity to connect and build valuable relationships while touring business parks and the downtown area. On the following day in Wausau, attendees explored carefully selected sites, gaining in-depth insights into the development opportunities available near the Wisconsin River and the Downtown District.

Angel Laidlaw, President and CEO of Centergy, expressed pride in showcasing both communities as vibrant and thriving hubs in Central Wisconsin. “By connecting developers with local contacts, we aim to build relationships that will lead to future projects and investments. Attendees were provided with comprehensive materials on properties throughout Central Wisconsin, with a special emphasis on Wausau and Stevens Point.”

Eight developers from outside Central Wisconsin, alongside local economic partners, were in attendance. By focusing on these key locations, the tour gave developers a clear understanding of the opportunities in Central Wisconsin. The event successfully highlighted the region’s readiness to support new housing projects and other developments, paving the way for future investments and collaborations.
