About Our Topic
Has your community recently modified zoning and other land use regulations to reduce barriers for new housing development? Bulk and dimensional regulations, such as minimum lot size and setback requirements may reduce the number of lots available for development, while use restrictions limit the types of new housing that can be constructed. Our discussion will focus on how to reduce regulatory burdens while respecting the investment of existing residents.
We will also go over the capital stacks we are seeing for new affordable and market-rate housing development in the region.
To help facilitate this discussion, please email [email protected] with a project or development that you would like to see in your community but isn’t feasible because of current regulations.
