Centergy, Inc., a leading organization dedicated to economic development in Central Wisconsin, successfully hosted the Central Wisconsin Developer Tour in Wood County.
The event took place on June 27th and 28th, bringing together various stakeholders, including economic partners, developers, municipalities, and non-profit organizations, to highlight the region’s potential for housing and commercial development.
The tour commenced with a warm welcome and networking event on June 27th in Marshfield, providing participants with the opportunity to connect and build valuable relationships. The following day in Wisconsin Rapids attendees had the chance to explore carefully selected sites and gain in-depth insights into the development opportunities available in business parks and downtown.
Angel Whitehead, President and CEO of Centergy, expressed pride in featuring Wood County as a vibrant and thriving community in Central Wisconsin. “With its abundant natural resources, robust economy, and welcoming environment, Wood County presents abundant possibilities for real estate development and investment. Ten developers from outside Central Wisconsin, alongside local economic partners were in attendance.

The event was a resounding success, reinforcing the region’s appeal for development and promoting economic growth in the area.
